About Mastercard Principal Member Services (MPMS)
  • The Mastercard Principal Member Services is a new exclusive optional service for members of the Mastercard network, providing them access to an integrated ecosystem of Business Information assets to help them better drive their business decisions and benefit the entire ecosystem; this optional products/ service can be accessed via the Mastercard Business Intelligence platform. In this platform you will also find other Mastercard Services products available.

Mastercard Principal Member Services provides valuable services across 5 key modules:

  • Understand: Understand the latest economic outlook, market dynamics, consumer and personalization trends to support business decisions
  • Diagnose: Improve business performances through executives’ insights and granular analytics capabilities
  • Optimize: Provide all needed data capabilities to drive incremental GDV through portfolio optimization
  • Innovate: Enable rapid implementation of latest innovation by leveraging Mastercard's extensive Fintech network
  • Learn: Stay on top of new industry development, core payment capabilities and new changes driven by technology and regulation

The value-added for each of the modules are:

  • Understand: Macroeconomic insights (e.g., inflation, confidence, income, interest rates), payments market trends (payments KPIs, insights & trends), consumer surveys (and research on latest trends), retail spend data (weekly data by sector & region), and personalization research and maturity index
  • Diagnose: In-depth analytics (custom analytics studio and more granular auth-fraud KPIs), portfolio monitoring (e.g., executive dashboards), Forecasting (spend forecasts and key driver), actionable insights (for data-driven decision making), and cyber risk identification (with recommendations)
  • Optimize: Optimization levers (e.g., authentication, authorization, fraud, and spend), self-service platforms (with actionable recommendations), subject matter expertise across optimization journey, library of audiences for engaging marketing campaigns, and impact measurement to identify opportunities
  • Innovate: Partnerships (guided steps into a successful long-lasting partnership), FinTech solutions, Startup value propositions (matching to own goals), quick access to innovations, and SME and FinTech webinars
  • Learn: Learning span across all industry topics and innovations, focused training, Instructor-led webinars (live and recorded), certification courses for different levels and topics, and extended learning (videos, case studies & blogs, podcasts)

Mastercard Principal Member Services includes the following optional products under each module:

  • Understand: SpendingPulse™, MacroSnapshot, World Payments Advisory™, Personalization Blueprint by DY
  • Diagnose: Spend Forecasting, Executive Briefings Hub, Auth Diagnosis, Trūata Pioneer
  • Optimize: Portfolio Optimizer 2.0, Mastercard Portfolio Advisor
  • Innovate: Sandbox as a Service
  • Learn: Learning Lab
  • The Mastercard Principal Member Services program does not include the Market Trends and MIC Lite. 
  • Market Trends and MIC Lite will continue to be provided to you as part of the Enterprise Business Intelligence InfoPack Program, and will remain governed by AN 5753 Upgrade of Portfolio Analytics InfoPack to Enterprise Business Intelligence InfoPack Program in the Europe Region
  • Mastercard Principal Member Services Program pricing can be checked on AN9029/AN9030 for modules and on AN9495 for individual products within the modules. Pricing is at a country level i.e., Issuers will be individually billed for the respective countries in which they are present.
  • Users can unsubscribe from Mastercard Principal Member Services Program optional services in the following way: 
  • select “Subscriptions” from the “Account” icon location on the top right corner of the universal navigation
  • Select “Manage Subscriptions” at the bottom of the “Subscriptions” page
  • Select the module to unsubscribe from and follow the steps on the survey. 
  • Opt-out process is at a country level and opting out of one country doesn’t opt you out of other countries. 
  • Please note that by unsubscribing from a service you will remove the access of your colleagues currently using that service. Please make sure to check with them before proceeding.
  • The billing occurs monthly. Clients that unsubscribe on a given month will have their access revoked at the end of that month and will not be charged for the next month.
